Important Information for You to Review Prior to your
Appointment
at InView
Your 4Sight evaluation at InView is a comprehensive clinical
exam and surgical evaluation that considers your complete vision
and eye health in order to determine the best possible vision correction
procedure for your individual needs. Testing will take approximately
two to three hours to complete. Your eyes will be dilated during
this exam. The drops used to dilate your eyes are very strong, making
it difficult to focus well enough at close range to read or write
for the remainder of the day. It is not unusual to still have some
dilation the following day. While driving is not prohibited with
dilated pupils, some patients prefer not to drive and make provisions
for transportation.
Our board certified physicians will perform tests that can only
be done on your eyes in their natural state. Because contact lenses
temporarily alter the shape of your cornea, please follow these
guidelines if you are a contact lens wearer:
If you wear hard (semi-rigid gas permeable) contact lenses,
leave them out for two full weeks prior to your exam. If you wear
soft contact lenses, leave them out for three full days prior to
your exam.
For your convenience, InView works with a network of affiliated
physicians throughout the state. Each of these professionals is
board certified and has been credentialed by InView to perform all
LASIK follow up care for you at their local office. Please check
with us to see if one of these affiliated doctor offices might be
more convenient for your 2 week, 3 month, 6 month, and 12 month
post surgery appointments following vision correction surgery at
InView.
InView is located at 301 Perimeter Center North Suite 600. A map
