At InView we provide you with the most comprehensive evaluation process to determine if you are a good candidate for LASIK or another refractive surgery. This exam is called the 4-Sight Exam and is only available at InView, The Leaders in Vision Correction.
The examination will include:
a complete eye exam
manifest refraction
cycloplegic refraction
dilated retina exam
pupil size measurement in bright and dim light
measurement of the posterior corneal curvature
contrast sensitivity testing
glare testing
endothelial cell counts (where indicated)
InterWave ® Scanner measurement of up to 70 points within your eye to gain an exact measurement of your entire optical system.
An InView physician will then discuss your visual needs and help you determine whether refractive surgery is right for you.
At the conclusion of the 4-Sight exam you will be given your personal 4-Sight profile. The 4-Sight Profile is a summary of the information gathered during your evaluation and provides you with four key indicators that make you a good candidate for LASIK or another refractive procedure. While no one factor determines your candidacy, all of these measurements, along with your individual ocular health findings will determine what type of treatment you will need to achieve optimal vision.
