Ophthalmic Technician

Performs tests and takes measurements of the eye function according to refractive surgery protocol prior to the ophthalmological exam and refractive surgery procedures performed by the ophthalmologist. Includes: History taking; refractions (Manifest and Cycloplegic); lensometry; retinoscopy; applanation tonometry; corneal topography; pachymetry; visual acuity; contrast sensitivity, pupil function and ocular muscle functions.

Qualifications: Experience working in an Ophthalmology environment in direct patient care. COA/COT certification is preferred. Skilled at providing exceptional patient care in a high-quality environment.

Marketing/Public Relations Intern

20 hrs/week. $8.00/hour. Length of internship: Semester. Position supports a variety of marketing and public relations activities in the promotion of InView, one of Atlanta's leading LASIK vision healthcare facilities. Duties: -Assist in production of newsletters -Assist in development of collateral -Oversee and assist with direct mail -Assist in public relations initiatives -Assist with training as well as conferences and health fairs
